From the moment we have a new product idea until the moment we prepare your order for shipment, we do our utmost to make sure that you will enjoy using your new ZEAL product for many years.
During the development, production and assembly of our products, we have incorporated multiple quality checks and it’s therefore very unlikely that a product with a defect in manufacturing or material will find its way to you.
Of course, we are fully aware that despite all our efforts and stringent quality control measures, it is conceivable that a product with a defect in manufacturing or material will end up at one of our customers. It’s very unlikely, but should this happen, you can rely on our 6 -year warranty period. And isn’t it great that we also enable you to transfer the warranty to the next owner, should you decide to sell your ZEAL product?!*

The 6-year warranty we give you applies to original ZEAL products which you have purchased at our online shop. Even though all the materials used in our products are of exceptionally high quality and durability, it is simply a fact of life that products will be subject to normal wear and tear and exposure to the elements. The life span of a product depends very much on the intensity of use and the way the product is treated.
ZEAL reserves the right to repair or replace the defective product free of charge. In the event that the product is no longer in stock and it cannot be repaired, ZEAL will replace the product with an equivalent product which is in stock.
The 6-year warranty does not apply when:
- The defect is the result of normal wear and tear of the product or a part of the product.
- Wear parts are understood to mean:
- brake pads
- braking surface of tubular and clincher rims
- ball bearings
- The product has been used outside the intended field of application for the product:
Besides our voluntary 6-year warranty that covers all the defects caused by manufacturing or material issues we also offer a crash replacement program.
With this service, we offer the opportunity to replace your damaged rim and spokes if your wheel can no longer be used after an accident or crash at reduced cost.
Within the ZEAL 6-year warranty period we will exchange the above-mentioned parts for a discounted replacement price of € 300 per wheel including hand building the wheel.
To use our Crash Replacement service, please contact us in advance, so that we can generate an individual service ID number and recommend the best method for shipment. We also ask you to explain how the damage was caused, so that we have an idea what we might need also to look for when we get your ZEAL product “back into shape”. We will also use this information for our ongoing product research and development.
We reserve the right to suspend this service if we detect that the damage has been caused deliberately or it is a simple optical issue. Furthermore, it is not possible to change to a different model within the Crash Replacement program.
In the event that the goods you receive are not to your complete satisfaction, you have the right to return them with 30 days of receipt instead of the 14 days required by law without giving any reason, and provided that they are as good as new.
Unfortunately, it can occur that an article is damaged in transport or does not operate as it should due to a material defect or a fault in manufacture. We kindly request that in these rare cases you contact us as soon as possible. We will of course then do our utmost to find a solution to the problem that is to your complete satisfaction.

As soon as your returned goods reach us, we will examine them carefully. Should your returned goods also require a refund of the purchase price, we will credit your bank account, Paypal account or credit card within 14 days.
